REISPACE TECHNOLOGIES INC.
LATOYA REID
ReiSpace was born out of a real-world diagnosis, not a whiteboard exercise. Its parent company, ReiDefine Wellness, spent years delivering trauma-informed, culturally responsive mental health services across Alberta, Ontario, and Saskatchewan, generating over $400,000 in service revenue in 2025 while supporting individuals, families, workplaces, and communities.
Through this work, we uncovered a consistent pattern: the greatest challenge wasn't simply access to mental health care, it was fragmentation. Clients often struggled to navigate disconnected services before therapy, during treatment, and after discharge, while many Black, Indigenous, racialized, newcomer, language minority, 2SLGBTQIA+ and other equity-deserving end employees were referred to traditional Employee Assistance Programs but experienced low trust, limited cultural relevance, and poor engagement.
This challenge is growing, not shrinking. Statistics Canada projects that racialized workers will represent 42-47% of Canada's working-age population by 2041, nearly double their share in 2016. At the same time, many equity-deserving communities continue to experience persistent barriers to accessing culturally responsive mental health care.
Even the Government of Canada's Employee Assistance Program has introduced dedicated Black mental health services, recognizing that a one-size-fits-all approach does not adequately serve all populations.
Our own commercial experience confirmed what the data suggested. Organizations across the public, private, and non-profit sectors were not simply asking for counselling, they were looking for culturally responsive, trauma-informed, trusted, and coordinated mental health solutions.
We validated this through paid pilots, partnership agreements, letters of interest, and an increasing number of government and institutional procurement opportunities seeking equity-focused and culturally responsive mental health services.
A paid pilot with Parents of Black Children, an in-kind partnership with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a signed MOU with Think Meet Ups and the Afro Caribbean Business Network, and a Letter of Interest from ACBN Canada representing more than 6,000 member businesses all reinforced the same message: organizations are actively seeking new approaches that better support diverse workforces.
ReiSpace is our response. It is an AI-enabled, culturally grounded B2B2C mental health continuity platform designed to reduce fragmentation and build trust across the mental health journey.
Rather than replacing therapists, ReiSpace connects people, providers, employers, and community organizations through culturally responsive matching, AI-assisted navigation, longitudinal engagement, and care coordination.
By helping organizations deliver more equitable, connected, and trusted mental health support, ReiSpace is transforming years of frontline experience into scalable technology that improves mental health outcomes for the communities that need it most.
